Place one potato at a time onto a cutting board and starting at one end and proceeding to the other, make slices from the top almost all of the way through to bottom of the potato spacing the slices 1/8 inch apart.

Place each potato with the sliced side up onto a sheet of aluminum foil large enough to wrap the entire potato.

Spread 2 oz. of the butter on top of each potato and evenly season each potato with one tsp of McHardy’s Hot & Spicy Seasoning.

Wrap the potatoes tightly and place them either on your BBQ grill or in a preheated 350 degree oven for about one hour or until the potato is cooked throughout.

Carefully open the foil, gently place the potato on the serving plate and drizzle the remaining butter from the foil onto the potato.

Add a slice of sweet onion to the top of the potato before cooking if you would like a different spin on this favorite side dish.
